Privacy Policy

What we collect
- Account details: your name, email and bakery name, through our sign-in provider.
- Shop data: your rates, menu, products, quotes, chat with the quote assistant, photos you upload, and the customer details you enter (such as names, emails, event dates and delivery addresses).
- Billing: handled by Square. We never see or store your full card number.
- Usage: basic logs and how much the quote assistant is used, to run and improve the Service.
- Contact form: what you send us, kept in our email.
How we use it
Only to run Cakulate for you: building quotes, sending emails and links you ask us to send, billing, support, security, and improving the product. We do not sell your data or your customers' data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
We use trusted providers to run the Service: Clerk (sign-in), Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (the AI that reads orders and photos), Resend (email), Square (payments) and Google Maps (delivery distance, when you use it). They process data only to provide their service to us.
Your customers' information
Customer details you enter belong to your shop. Each shop's data is kept separate from every other shop at the database level. You are responsible for having permission to store your customers' details and for answering their requests.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep your data while your account is open. You can export it at any time and delete your workspace from Settings. After deletion, data is removed from our live systems right away and from backups within 30 days.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited by shop, and uploaded photos are private. No system is perfect; if we learn of a breach affecting your data, we will tell you promptly.
Your choices
You can view, correct, export or delete your data from the app, or ask us for help. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights; contact us and we will honor them.
